KFTV runs almost on student’s fees and the donation from different partners with a supporting heart, however we have extended our program to peoples who can not afford to pay the school fees including, peoples with disabilities, peoples in poor conditions who can not afford their tuition, peoples in rural village by enabling them to the scholarship program called be u which is given every three months, however, we are looking for any kind of support that can help us in this root.

we will be Grady to here any kind of support include materials (cameras, tripod/monopod, light equipment, editing suits, sound equipment, monitor, reflectors etc..), visiting our students for a workshop, ideas, paying our volunteer lectures and any other kind of support.

we believe that any form of donation can contribute a lot to the change of story telling in east Africa especial Rwanda.

Film & Tv Production

Our film and television production program is a comprehensive training in the art and craft of filmmaking and TV production, with the emphasis on hands-on instruction coupled with practical exercises in all the essentials of film and television production including directing, production, editing, cinematography, sound, and screenwriting. SCHOLARSHIP

Rwanda government has put more emphasis on hands on skills and short term training to help reduce unemployment and increase the access to education, in this context KFTV offer scholarship for students every three months.

As Rwanda is developing quickly, the gender promotion is one major aspect that Rwanda government has promoted to unable equal access to different service. Thus in our program of youth development and girls empowerment, we encourage girls and women to apply to this scholarship.

During this program of scholarship more than 500 students have studied on this scholarship and we continue to encourage everyone who have passion to apply.

To be able to qualify to the scholarship you will need to fill the application form present on this website or apply to our office.

When you get selected we contact you from the email that you have provided during the application and you have to pass an interview with our admission representative team.

You need the following documents

Copy of national ID or passport for foreigner
Being able to speak English , French is an added value
Having completed at least advanced lever (s6) proof document (degree/certificate/result slip /transcript) for those one who have not completed the advanced lever they have to demonstrate their English proficiency during the interview.
Being able to attend all course and ready to start immediately after being admitted.

We offer partial scholarship which covers up to 80% for all applicant located in Rwanda and 50% to all applicant outside of Rwanda .
